The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics is the largest faculty in Hungary. lt offers BSc, MSc and PhD education in the field of electrical engineering and in computer science and engineering. Software engineering plays an important role in the education with a special emphasis on technologies and technology related applications. The faculty carries out a large spectrum of research activities all in the frameworks of EU projects, national R&D projects and direct cooperation with the industry.
The faculty maintains several Centers of Competence related to this field.
